Kali Visits the Nursery

On Wednesday, The Nursery received a very special visit from Milena's Grandad, Graham and he brought his dog, Kali, with him. Kali has been specially trained as a canine care dog and visits patients in hospital.

The children were able to pet her and Graham told us all about her. She is 4 years old, just like some of the Nursery children! They were shown a patch on her coat that looked just like a heart and Graham told them that her name comes from Greece and means sweetheart.

The children were fascinated by a tattoo in her ear that will help the police find Graham if she ever gets lost.
