Year 5 Camp at Beechwood

Camp In Group
Year 5 had fantastic fun during their first ‘Camp In’ at Beechwood from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 May.

Activities included a walk around The Pantiles with tour guide Martha, team-building with World Challenge, a trip to Groombridge Place and songs round a real campfire with Mrs Greening.

Fun at Groombridge
Many thanks to the Parents’ Association for supplying the tents, the cooks for preparing lovely food, Mr Beesley and Muffin for visiting us each day, Mrs Dooley for masterminding the entire project and ALL other staff involved.

Finally, a special thank you to Mrs Newman and Mrs Holroyd who were on 24 hour call in case of an emergency!
