On Friday 19 September 2008, Years 7, 8, 9 and Years 10 and 11 Drama Groups went to see War Horse at the National Theatre in London.
The play had a very calm beginning so we were unprepared for the emotional roller coaster that was to follow. The horses were puppets and the movements were so realistic that we all began to believe that they were real horses.
The play was very emotional and there was many a tear. We are proud to say that Beechwood led the standing ovation. It was an amazing performance and we are very thankful to Mrs Prodrick for giving us the experience. Lily Harriman
