Learning Development
The Learning Development Department exists to ensure that every child is helped to achieve their full potential; it liaises with all parts of the school to ensure that the educational needs of all pupils are met.
This includes the needs of children at both ends of the learning spectrum; the Department identifies gifted and talented children, as well as those needing help with numeracy, literacy and social skills. For more information about learning development in the Preparatory and Senior Schools

National Association for Gifted Children
The West Kent Explorers' Club, the local section of the National Association for Gifted Children organises regular events of interest to children and their families.
We are pleased that in future many of these will be held at Beechwood, beginning with Science Day on March 17th 2007. You can download a poster with details about Science Day by clicking below.
