Beechwood Bop
Over 150 children thoroughly enjoyed dancing the afternoon away at the Beechwood Bop last Friday. Many thanks to Mrs Wright and her team of volunteers who worked very hard and did a wonderful job to ensure all the pupils had a lovely time.

PA Christmas Fair
Many thanks to those who made the effort to come to the meeting yesterday. We all agreed that the Christmas Fair last Saturday was a huge success and many thanks again to everyone who helped. We presented Kate with a lovely bouquet and a bottle of wine in thanks for all her hard work. The final figure has yet to be confirmed, but at the moment we made over £2,000 profit. The next meeting is 26 January 2012. Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas.

Fireworks Night

The fireworks were a huge success again this year and many thanks to all those who helped and supported the event. Phoenix Fireworks put on a great show and the food from Coopers Farm, Stonegate was superb. As a prelim to the final accounts being completed we have made around £800 and are hopeful for a slightly higher figure when all the accounts are in.

PA Summer Drinks Party
Drinks on the lawn last Saturday, became drinks in the Conservatory and what a fabulous venue. Everyone had a great time, the entertainment was fun and the decorations almost turned the Conservatory into an Arabian tent. Many thanks to Lisa for organising and Nadine, Penny & Roseanna in particular for the food, drink & decorations and for everyone who came along.

Best of British Quiz

Eight teams of enthusiastic parents, friends and staff celebrated this year's PA Quiz in the school hall, transformed beautifully by Chrissy Daw, Sophie Stevens and extra helpers. The Quiz Masters Ian and Chris treated the teams to a diverse range of subjects. At half way everyone enjoyed a fish and chip supper served by the catering staff. During the evening Heads and Tails, double your points and joker rounds gave the teams the chance to improve their scores. The winners, Dungeoness Dragons prize was a wine tour and tasting at Chapel Down Vineyard. Thanks to all who supported and helped to raise £677.77.

Barn Dance

Last Saturday saw the return of the Barn Dance. There were over 150   who danced the night away with the Sussex Pistols and enjoyed some excellent chilli from the school's chef, Malcolm. We watched the children have an absolutely fabulous time on the Bucking Bronco - they could not get enough of it! Olivia Mullen was the champion rider of the night. Thank you to all the parents who helped at this event. Your support is vital in raising funds and more importantly in giving the children some wonderful experiences and memories.
