Sunday Funday

The theme for this year's event was 'The Olympics' and there were a number of events that the children took part in to win medals. There were Gold, Silver and Bronze for distance throws, target throws, hula hoop skills, hoopla skills and an obstacle course.  In addition, there were home-made cakes supplied by Yr 8; the coconut shy - all 75 coconuts were won in just 2 hours; a Smoothie Bike to make your own smoothie, all with fresh fruit, and the annual tug-of-war, girls against boys, children against adults, existing parents against new parents etc.  
 
The sun shone for us again this year which was an added bonus and the PA raised around £800 as well.  Thank you to everyone who came along and to those who supported the first event of the academic year.
