Year 5 Trip to Swattenden Centre

As part of the Outdoor Education programme, Year 5 enjoyed a 3 day trip last week at the Swattenden Centre in Cranbrook. Whilst there, they participated in a variety of outdoor, adventurous activities including rafting, climbing, orienteering, archery and ‘high all abroad', to name just a few.

The activities encouraged them to develop a positive attitude towards challenge and achieving success. They learnt to appreciate contributions and achievements made by themselves as well as others, demonstrating initiative, self-reliance, responsibility, perseverance and commitment.

Well done to all Year 5 - hope you had a wonderful time and learnt a great deal!
