Conkers!

After battling through five rounds, Honor in Year 6 emerged victorious in Beechwood's annual  conker competition.  Headmaster Mr Beesley,  who runs the event, was impressed by the skills shown and the quality of the conkers, he commented   "The conkers were in their natural state,  the one exception proving that baking was not a good idea,  as the hardened conker was smashed in the first bout."
