Tudor Times in the Prep School
|
Year 4 donned their beautifully made Tudor head-dresses and explained to the Prep School how the Tudors loved entertainment from sport and the theatre to dance. Accompanied by the music of "Consort" and "Helas Madame", both written by Henry VIII, they demonstrated a Tudor dance.
"We really felt we were living in Tudor times, it was so real and exciting," acclaimed Helen, Bana, Ingie and Imogen. "The moment I put on my hat, there were a few blank seconds and then I just felt I was a Tudor lady," said Xenia thoughtfully. "I really enjoyed it, it actually made me feel quite peaceful" added Toby.
