A-level Examination Results
|
We congratulate our A-level students on their commendable results.
Grade A* - A 39% Grades A* - B 78% Pass Rate 97%
University points per candidate: 354
Headmaster, Nicholas Beesley commented: "All the hard work of our students and teachers has been rewarded by outstanding results. I am especially pleased by the number of our entries that have gained the top grades. Whilst we have students who have gained strings of A* and A grades, of which they should be proud, I am equally thrilled by one student who gained just an A and a C, but whose background before she came to the school 4 years ago apparently gave her no hope of any academic achievement. This is the sort of outcome that makes teaching such a rewarding profession."

Headmaster Nicholas Beesley said:
"As we have come to expect, some of our pupils have achieved outstanding results this year - four girls having gained A* or A grades in all of their subjects. At Beechwood, we cater for pupils with a wide range of abilities and so for us success is measured by the performance of each individual against their potential. A handful of passes for some pupils represents personal success and is therefore just as pleasing as the top grades of others."
