Amazing Author Visit

On Monday Junior Division had a special visit from a very famous author called William Nicholson. He gave us all a very interesting talk about being readers and not being readers, calling the non-readers the underworld and the readers the smart ones! He also told us about some of the parts in his first book of his trilogy called The Wind Singer. He told us all a lot more but it would probably be too much to fit on the page! We then all got very excited about his books which he was selling and we were lucky enough to get them signed by William Nicholson himself. So all in all I think we got a lot out of it and hopefully made us want to be readers.
