Eco-Action

Parents, students and staff will all be interested to learn that we have now registered Beechwood with the Eco-Schools programme (http://www.eco-schools.org.uk/). This is a nationwide initiative to help schools become more environmentally friendly, and involve students in the process. Several parents from the PA recently met with Dr Grant from the Science Department to sketch out initial plans and complete the Eco-School's recommended first step-an environmental audit. In the Senior School, a lunchtime environment club on a Tuesday will be just one way that students can start to get involved.
