Journée Française

On Wednesday, Year 7 and 8 French students took a cool trip to Boulogne!  Although we did not see the sun until the afternoon, everybody had a great time. After a long journey on the coach we were all excited and thrilled to be in France. First, we went to the cathedral which was quite spectacular. Then, shopping time in the old town: we all rushed to the confiserie (the sweet shop) and to a shop selling lovely bright berets. In no time we all looked very French!!

After lunch, we headed for the hypermarket and spent our last few euros. After a final stop at the sandy beach to enjoy the fresh air, we were made our way back to Calais. Merci beaucoup to Madame Jenner for organising the trip and all the staff who helped to make it such a brilliant day.
