Poetry's the name of the game!

‘Games' was the national theme chosen for this year's Poetry Day. From board games to sport anagrams and word searches, the name of the game was poetry! The Year 7's had written some wonderful poems about their favourite games, hobbies and sports with the winner being announced in assembly on Monday. The pupils who had written poems were each invited to read them aloud in the Library's Poets' Corner at lunch time. The PE staff also joined in with Mrs Mitchell and Mr Neill reading some very amusing football poems-much fun was had by all.
