Last Friday Years 9 and 11 had the heart touching experience of meeting and singing with the Christian singer and songwriter Graham Kendrick (or as we like to call him ‘Shine Jesus Shine' man).
Graham's first song was ‘Is Anyone Thirsty' and Year 9 favourite. He talked about the inspiration for the song and we joined in. This was followed by ‘The Servant King' which was the title of a big Christian event he was attending, where he was asked to write a song.
Graham told us about his life and experiences with religion and worship and his passion and commitment to his faith was obvious. To finish off the afternoon we all joined together to sing our hearts out to ‘Shine, Jesus Shine'.
We are very grateful for him coming and providing this magical experience.
