Free Time and Activities
At weekends boarders enjoy a full programme of outings and activities tailored to their interests, including cultural visits to London and the South Coast of England, which offer popular days out.
The local town of Royal Tunbridge Wells provides venues for theatrical productions, ballet, opera and music – there is always plenty to do and look forward to. In addition, boarders can take lessons in horse-riding locally, or in sailing or other water sports at Bewl Water, the largest lake in South East England. Our aim is to broaden the experiences of our boarders while providing interest and fun. Homework is not forgotten as we have quiet periods set aside for this every weekend.
There is a comprehensive programme of activities and outings for boarders at the weekends. After school (4-5pm) and at lunchtimes on weekdays there are over 30 clubs to choose from, or students may do supervised homework.
