English Teacher

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding English specialist to join our team of exceptional teachers.

As our English Teacher, you will do your utmost to ignite a love of the English language and a broad range of literature, and inspire our students to become active learners and informed members of society.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • To plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that allow every student to reach their full potential.
  • Teaching from KS3 to KS5.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
  • Foster a love of reading and literature through the exploration of various literacy genres and texts.
  • Develop students writing skills through instruction in grammar, composition and creative writing techniques.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A specialism in English Literature, or a relevant field.
  • Experience in teaching.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
